Pete Blackshaw is the Vice President of Digital and Social Media at Nestlé, S.A., based in Switzerland. In addition to helping shape digital strategy for Nescafe, Kit Kat, San Pellegrino, Perrier, Purina, and hundreds of other Nestle brands, Pete oversees Nestle’s industry-recognized Digital Acceleration Team (DAT) as well as the Silicon Valley Innovation Outpost (SVIO). Prior to Nestle, he served as CMO of NM Incite, a joint venture between Nielsen and McKinsey centering around enterprise social media strategy and insights. He is author of a book by Doubleday entitled “Satisfied Customers Tell Three Friends, Angry Customers Tell 3000: Running a Business in Today’s Consumer-Driven World,” and periodically authors columns in Advertising Age centered around the book’s themes. Pete founded PlanetFeedback.com, one of the web’s first consumer-feedback portals, and co-founded the Word-of-Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA). He recently served as Chairman of the Board of the National Council of Better Business Bureaus and in that capacity sat on the National Advertising Review Council. He’s a 2014 inductee of the World of Mouth Marketing Hall of Fame, and a 2010 Grand Prize winner of the “Great Minds” award from the Advertising Research Foundation. Pete is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of California, Santa Cruz.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the international cruise and technology industry, Luca Pronzati has a wealth of experience in boosting productivity and business development through innovation. Mr Pronzati joined MSC Cruises in 2012 and has since focused on developing and delivering holistic solutions across all areas of operations. With a vision anchored in innovation and technology, he is in charge of coordinating MSC Cruises’ investment and optimization efforts to bring the latest consumer-centric technologies to the Company’s fleet. To this end, Mr Pronzati has implemented various projects resulting in the deployment of an innovative B2B & B2C E-commerce platform in more than 44 countries, a newly virtualized Contact Centre located in 13 countries worldwide and the launch of a new mobile App in more than 15 countries. More recently, with MSC Meraviglia’s entry into service in June 2017, Mr Pronzati and his team have successfully implemented MSC for Me, an industry-first digital innovation programme designed to elevate on-board customer experience by enhancing the way guests interact with the ship and her crew. Among other important features, this innovative application includes a dynamic wave finding system that allows guests to access a range of on-board geolocation services, including kid’s location at all times. Mr Pronzati is based at the Company’s Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and leads a team of dedicated professionals around the world. Mr Pronzati holds a Masters’ degree in Engineering and a degree in Corporate Valuation of SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
Christopher Ganz is responsible in ABB to increase service awareness in research and development. After studying electrical engineering at ETH in Zurich and a PhD degree in control, he held various R&D positions in ABB’s power plant control unit. Later he was responsible for the corporate research program in “Control & Optimization”. In his current role as Group VP for Service R&D located at ABB’s headquarters in Zurich, Christopher Ganz is leading cross-division projects in the area of service technologies, which includes remote services, and IoT initiatives.
Since joining Google in March 2011, Benedikt has held a number of leadership positions in different parts of Google’s Global Business Organisation. Based in the EMEA HQ in Dublin, he is currently responsible for Google’s Swiss & Austrian Marketing Solutions division.Benedikt has several years of management, brand and marketing consulting experience. Having graduated from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland with a Masters degree in Strategy and International Management and through his previous work at an international management consulting firm and a leading Swiss creative agency. Early on, Benedikt helped national and international companies with their digital transformation and their digital brand management, his current focus is on helping customers unlock the full potential of the internet.
Anthony is the Global Partnerships Manager at UBS Group Innovation. As well as leading the UBS Future of Finance Challenge and authoring several white papers, Anthony develops UBS’s presence and partnerships in key innovation ecosystems around the world.
Previously, Anthony worked in Venture Capital, and prior to that served as a British Army Officer. He holds an MBA in strategy and entrpreneurship, which he completed at Manchester Business School and the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
Nicolas Bürer, 39, is Managing director at digitalswitzerland since October 2016. He studied Physics at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). From 2011 to 2013 he worked as Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer at Deindeal.ch. He then went on to co-found Movu.ch, of which he still is Chairman. In January 2014, he was appointed Managing Director of Joiz Switzerland. Since the beginning of 2016, Nicolas Bürer has also been the Vice-Chairman of the Swiss Startup Association.
Wolfgang Prasser has worked in the financial sector for more than 30 years. After studying actuarial science, qualifying as an actuary, and holding various positions in international insurance companies, Wolfgang Prasser focused on product distribution and change processes within the financial services industry. In 1990, he founded a life insurance company for a large international German insurance group. Under his leadership, the company subsequently became one of the group’s most successful operations outside Germany. Prasser then moved from production to sales and distribution and, for ten years, was CEO for the national subsidiaries of the international financial consulting firm AWD in Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. Until it was sold to Swiss Life, Osteuropaholding was the AWG Group’s most successful business unit abroad. In 2009, Prasser joined the Baloise Group’s international business in Basel and, in 2010, became a member of the Executive Committee of Basler Switzerland. Since then, he has headed up Product Management Private Customers. The division includes all private non-life lines and Individual Life. The main areas of focus in recent years have been product planning and control, profitability management and pursuing the joint business model with Baloise Bank SoBa. Baloise is very active in pursuing start-up ideas. Among others, Baloise has acquired the start-up Movu, is actively involved in Accelerator F10 and was the first insurance company in Europe to bring wristwatch insurance with photo recognition to market. Further innovative products such as cyber insurance and removals insurance were developed and implemented within a period of four weeks.
Mr. Erik Herlyn is mechanical and production engineer (Trinity University Dublin, University of Bremen) and has extensive experience in the finance and hydrocarbon industries. He developed the Working Capital Management initiative of PostFinance Ltd from its beginnings to today’s successful offerings to improve liquidity and logistic processes for corporate clients. This includes supply chain finance solutions such as Working Capital analysis, off-balance logistics, factoring and reverse factoring. He is VP Finance of Trace Atlantic Oil Ltd, a private oil and gas exploration company operating offshore fields in Africa and holds several board seats. Prior to that he was holding several managerial positions in large International Business Consulting firms such as KPMG, BearingPoint and Capgemini.
